An assistant that speaks fundraiser

Paddle-Up’s AI Assistant lives inside the platform—so you can ask how something works, summarize what to do next, or draft and refine emails and announcements without jumping to a separate chat tool. It is built for busy volunteers and staff who need answers now, not another tab to manage.

Fundraising software is powerful, but nights and weekends do not come with a manual. The AI Assistant is there to shorten the distance between “I need to get this done” and a clear next step—whether you are setting up a campaign, explaining ticketing to a new volunteer, or polishing donor-facing copy before you hit send.

What it is for

  • In-product guidance: ask how workflows fit together or what to check before go-live—described in plain language, grounded in how Paddle-Up is organized around campaigns.
  • Drafting & refinement: turn bullet notes into invitation copy, reminders, or thank-you language, then edit so it matches your organization's voice.
  • Faster onboarding: new committee members can ask situational questions without waiting for the one person who remembers last year's setup.

How it fits the rest of Paddle-Up

The assistant is a layer on top of the same platform you use for campaigns, ticketing, auctions, payments, donors, and operations—not a replacement for those systems. When you are juggling a gala catalog, table assignments, and volunteer shifts, the goal is to reduce context switching: stay in Paddle-Up, get language or steps you can act on, and keep moving.

Serious decisions—pricing, refunds, financial approvals, legal wording, and what you publish under your organization's name—remain yours. The assistant suggests and explains; your team reviews and approves.

Privacy & good judgment

Treat AI-generated text like a first draft from a well-informed teammate: verify facts, names, dates, and dollar amounts before anything goes to donors or sponsors. Follow your organization's policies for data handling and external services—especially when content touches minors, health information, or sensitive donor details.

If your compliance team needs specifics about subprocessors, retention, or regional requirements, contact us through Contact so we can align documentation with how your Paddle-Up workspace is configured.
