Help for every stage of your event

Start here for setup and day-of workflows. Product pages go deeper on each module; in-app AI Assistant can answer while you work.

Accounts, data & platform

Paddle-Up uses Firebase for authentication and product analytics, MongoDB for application data, and Stripe for payments—so sign-in, telemetry, and money each follow well-documented providers.

Sign in on the marketing site or product app with the same Firebase account. Organization data, campaigns, and permissions live in MongoDB; card and bank payouts go through your Stripe Connect accounts.

Prefer in-product answers while you work? Use the AI Assistant inside the dashboard (pay-as-you-go tokens) or reach support.

Getting started

Create an account, start an organization, connect Stripe, configure your first campaign, and invite team members with the right permissions.

  1. Create an account and complete organization onboarding in the product app.
  2. Connect Stripe so tickets, bids, and donations can settle to your bank.
  3. Create a campaign (gala, auction, jog-a-thon, festival, or custom) and turn on the modules you need.
  4. Invite staff and volunteers with role-based permissions.

Fee details live on the pricing page.

Auctions & product sales

Catalog items, online or in-room sales, bidding when you need it, and clean receipts.

Build your item catalog, register bidders, run silent or live bidding, and settle winners through Stripe. Bid sheet scanning helps capture paper sheets after close. See Auctions & bidding and Bid sheet scanning.

Ticketing & attendees

How to sell tickets, manage tables, and run check-in for any fundraiser format.

Configure ticket tiers, capacity, promo codes, meals, seating for galas, and check-in rosters tied to the same campaign as payments. Details: Ticketing & attendees.

Payments & fees

Understand Stripe processing, the Paddle-Up platform fee (0.1% + $0.15), AI usage (pay-as-you-go tokens), and where to read payouts.

Stripe charges its processing rates for your account. Paddle-Up adds 0.1% + $0.15 per successful transaction for the full platform. In-person card readers use Stripe Terminal (often different rates than online). AI Assistant usage is metered with organization tokens—see Pricing and Payments.

Volunteers & operations

Coordinate shifts, roles, and night-of logistics without losing track of updates.

Volunteer rosters, tasks, expenses, device displays, and POS flows share the same campaign context as registration. Explore Event operations, POS & mobile, and Device monitoring.
